Therapy with Paul
Healing begins with understanding of ourselves, our patterns, and the experiences that shaped us. I offer a therapeutic space rooted in insight and attunement, integrating a psychodynamic approach, parts work, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support meaningful and lasting change.
Through a psychodynamic lens, we look at how early relationships, unresolved conflicts, and internalized beliefs continue to shape your present experiences. Parts work builds on this by helping you recognize and understand the different “parts” of yourself, such as the protective, critical, or wounded aspects, so they can be heard, understood, and integrated. This process often brings a greater sense of self-compassion and self-acceptance. EMDR then complements this work by targeting distressing memories at their root, reducing emotional reactivity, and restoring a felt sense of safety and empowerment in the body.
Together, we work to uncover the deeper threads of your story, make sense of emotional responses, and gently transform patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you’re navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, or a desire for personal growth, therapy is a collaborative journey.
Let’s begin this journey toward clarity, integration, and healing.
